Bruges can be visited on land, at sea and in the air, although the sea must be replaced by the canals. Why take a walk or public transport if there are much nicer transport options?
On land
Walking through the small picturesque streets under the warm glow of the street lights is pure enjoyment, but what about an authentic coach ride?
Let the romance blow up in one of the official carriages stationed at the market. Accompanied by a professional coachman who has been in the business for years, you ride in a beautiful carriage through the city centre of Bruges while the coachman gives you information about the city centre of Bruges.
Romance guaranteed!
At sea (the canals)
One of the most iconic attractions in the Breydelstad is an open boat trip on the canals. When you come to Bruges you are almost obligated to get in a small boat and sail on the canals.
During the boat trip, the captain will explain the city centre and will bring stories, legends and myths full of enthusiasm.
A boat trip takes about half an hour and lets you experience the city from a completely different perspective.
A boat trip on the canals is possible from March to mid-November and at these places you can board: Huidenvettersplein, Rozenhoedkaai, Wollestraat, Gruuthuuse and Katelijnestraat.
In the air
In the meantime we have already explored Bruges by means of a carriage and a boat, but now we ascend into the heights.
A balloon ride over the city centre of Bruges and the surrounding villages is the most adventurous and romantic way to see Bruges.
A balloon ride is possible via:
